Handrails provide stability on stairs, ramps and floors. Fastened to walls and railings, handrails should always be easily accessible and ergonomic.
The shape of a handrail depends to a large extent on the target group (the cross section of the handrail used by a child has to be much smaller than one used by adults). The wishes of the client or architect are also paramount.
Creative touches can be provided by the materials, the geometries or integrated illumination, in combination with the purpose, location, and valid building regulations.
You can find a selection of different handrails as a suggestion in our references: Handrails, Railings and Stairs.
